General Information

Here is some general information about our live camp event happening this year Thursday Sept 16th – Sunday 19th 2021 at Beacon Rock State Park, Washington State, USA.

Beacon Rock group camp site

Setting

  • Rustic campground with bathroom facilities at the Group Campsite of Beacon Rock State Park.
  • The nearest showers are a 3 min drive/ 15 min walk to the main camping area
  • Please come equipped with your own camping gear and supplies for the duration of the Camp including a chair.
  • The camp is taking place mid-sept it maybe cool and raining.
  • There are two open sided wooden bunk shelters for up to 8 people in each
  • There is an indoor meeting space we use based on weather restricitions

 

Arrival

  • Camp hosts will greet you from 4pm onwards on the Thursday at the campsite.

Food

  • You are responsible for your own meals.

Inquiry Sessions

  • Each session is facilitated by your camp hosts, each one of them a Certified Facilitator of The Work.
  • The primary focus is to give you plenty of opportunity to practice doing The Work.
  • Session Thursday Night is a chance for everyone be introduced to The Work of Byron Katie, introduce each other and get started with inquiry.

Thursday

4 – 6pm:  your hosts will be there to welcome you at our group campsite.

6:00 pm: Evening Session begins

9:00 pm: Evening Session ends

Daily Schedule (Friday and Saturday)

7:30 am: Each morning begins with a morning walk exercise and or yoga.

9:30 am: Morning Session begins

12:30 pm: Lunch and recreation break

2:30 pm: Afternoon Session begins

5:30 pm: Break for dinner

7:00 pm:  Evening Session (2 hours)

Pack up before final Morning Session

9:00 am:  Morning Session begins

12:00 pm: End of the camp

Please note the group campsite is booked for an additional night of Sunday 19th Sept, you therefore have the option to stay one more night and explore the Columbia River Gorge, the nearby Carson Hot Springs or hang out with some new friends.
